Exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) test
Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) is a gas found to be elevated in cases of airway inflammation. It helps diagnose, predict asthma exacerbations, or adjust medication dosage in the treatment of asthma patients.
Pulmonary function test
A lung function test using spirometry. It helps identify airway obstruction and assess changes in airway dilation after using a bronchodilator inhaler.

Pulmonary function test
Initial lung capacity test (Peak expiratory flow rate): blowing into a Peak Flow Meter to assess lung function. The test helps diagnose disease and monitor the patient's symptoms.
Skin allergen test (Skin prick test)
A diagnostic test for immediate-type allergies using a skin prick. It helps identify what you are allergic to. When patients avoid the allergen, symptoms improve. It can detect both airborne allergens such as dust mites, cockroaches, dog dander, cat dander, and foods such as cow’s milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and seafood. Preparation: stop taking antihistamines 7–10 days before the test. Results can be read 15 minutes after testing.
Blood test for allergens (Allergen Specific IgE)
A diagnostic test for immediate-type allergies using a blood draw. It helps identify what you are allergic to. When patients avoid the allergen, symptoms improve. It can detect both airborne allergens such as dust mites, cockroaches, dog dander, cat dander, and foods such as cow’s milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, and seafood. Results take about 1 week.
Food and drug allergy challenge test (Challenge test)
Allergy diagnosis by exposing the patient to the suspected allergen is a highly accurate test. The test substance may be given with the patient aware (open challenge) or with the patient unaware but the physician aware (single-blind challenge). A positive result means the patient is allergic to the tested substance.
Allergen immunotherapy (Allergen Immunotherapy)
Treatment by administering an allergen into the body, gradually increasing the dose to the therapeutic level, helps rebalance and reduce the immune response or build tolerance to the allergen. This reduces allergy symptoms, can reduce or stop medications, and improves the patient’s quality of life. There are two types of treatment: injections and oral administration as drops or sublingual tablets. Treatment must be continued for 3–5 years.
