It also has the “Altai Mountains,” a name Thai people have been familiar with since childhood from textbooks that said Thai people originated from the Altai Mountains. Whether that’s true or not, these mountains are in northern Xinjiang near the city of Burqin. Attractions in Xinjiang are a “mix of natural beauty,” including forests, national parks, deserts, canyons, snow-capped mountains, lakes, and grasslands—along with cultural sites featuring many ethnic minorities. The ones we know well are the Uyghur, Kazakh, Mongol, and others.

Turkey, a country spanning two continents with an ancient civilizational history, has become a fast-rising popular destination for Thai travelers over the past several years.
