
Seafarer health check-up program
A seafarer is a person who works on a ship, such as a captain, marine engineer, cook, sailor, etc.

Seafarer A seafarer is a person who works on a ship, such as a captain, marine engineer, cook, sailor, including staff on passenger ships, cargo ships, or tourist boats. This group must work far from shore for long periods and may experience health problems at any time. Therefore, the law requires health examinations under the Maritime Labour Act B.E. 2558 (2015).
It states:
• Seafarers over 18 years old must undergo a health check every 2 years.
• Seafarers aged 16–18 must undergo a health check every 1 year.
To ensure that crew members are healthy and ready to work safely
Items to prepare before receiving the service:
• Original ID card
• Seaman Book
• Original passport (if sailing internationally)
• If you wear glasses, please bring them on the examination day.
• If you have any underlying medical conditions, please bring your medication and/or your next appointment card.
• For the dental section of the medical certificate, please see a dentist for an oral and dental health examination and complete any necessary treatment. Then attach the medical certificate and bring it back on the health check-up day.
(You can obtain the dental medical certificate form at the Occupational Medicine Center.)
Oral and dental examination fee:
Dental X-ray with a medical certificate issued Price: 1,000 THB
(Excluding cases where additional treatment is required)

The above items are based on the standard examination guidelines under the Maritime Labour Act B.E. 2558 (2015)
According to the Ministry of Public Health announcement, there is no need to fast (no food or water) before the health checkup.
